Summerville Aviaries
Welcome to Summerville Aviaries!
We are parrot breeders based in the midlands of Ireland. Our birds have first class accommodation in custom built aviaries. Hygiene and cleanliness is paramount, along with an excellent diet of Optibird pellets, Soak mix and a small percentage of seed.
Our babies are housed in their very own custom nursery, with everything they could need to ensure they develop into well balanced and well socialsed birds.
We also run a parrot rescue here, and have various birds still resident who have found their forever homes here.
Aviaries
Our aviaries are custom built, with the needs of the individual birds in mind. Some of our birds are housed completely indoors, as these birds would be used to a more temperate climate than ours. The small birds, such as the lovebirds, cockatiels and budgies, have an indoor section, with year round access to an outdoor flight.
Parrot Rescue
At Summerville we often take in rehomes and rescues. We have successfully rescued, and in most cases rehomed, birds from budgies, to macaws. Our doors are always open to birds, in any condition and with any problems. If you are interested in adopting a parrot, please contact us for details.
Our babies
Summerville Aviaries speciliases in raising exceptionally sweet hand reared parrots, in Midlands Ireland. As a family we breed and produce parrots in few numbers, but with great love and attention. We offer Parrotlets, budgies, cockatiels, African greys, Senegals, green cheek conures, rose crowned conures, Jenday conures, Quakers, and others.
